What is Freelinkers.com?
Freelinkers.com is a free link exchange directory where you can link your site to hundreds of other websites in a matter of minutes. Alternatively, you can opt for a simple link exchange. We provide you with some code that you place in a blank web page (or your existing links page is simple link option). You then provide a link to your page from your home page. The links that are displayed on your links page are customisable, so you can choose which websites to link to.

What are the different Link Exchange types you offer?
We have SimpleX and PartnerX. SimpleX is a simple exchange of links between your site and freelinkers.com. ParnerX is where you partner with any number of our other partners to get hundreds of links to your website. We have a comparison page that explains the differences.

Are there any costs involved?
Freelinkers.com is completely free to join and to get your links page, up and running. At some point in the future we may introduce premium services that will be paid, for a small fee. However, our free link exchange directory will always remain free to join. This is necessary to maintain a large choice of link partners and to ensure we continue to grow and offer you the best choice of link partners for your website.

How will Freelinkers.com help me to get more traffic?
By joining us with PartnerX you will have a links page that includes your selected link partners. Other members will do the same and may include your website in their links page. These links may be followed and catalogued by the search engines. The more relevant links that you have to your site, the better the ranking you should achieve.

How soon will I see more traffic to my website with PartnerX?
This depends on how many other members include a link to your website and how quickly these links are catalogued by the search engines. Initially, you should see several sites instantly linked to yours from those members who have chosen the option to automatically add new sites. Over the next few weeks you will see more members link to your site as they elect to include your site in their link lists. This will bring direct traffic from your link partners. You should then get secondary traffic from the search engines as your own entries with them start to rank higher in search results pages.

How soon will my site show on Google?
This very much depends on the quality of the content of your site and how Google ranks you. It can take as little as 2 weeks or may take several weeks. By joining freelinkers you would have made a big step towards getting your site listed with a higher ranking especially if you choose our PartnerX scheme.

What sites don't you allow?
Most sites are acceptable except those that contain the following content: racist or extreme religious views; warez and download sites; anything illegal; pornography.

I have started to register for PartnerX but want to change to SimpleX. Can I do this?
Yes. Cancel the registration process at any time after you have entered your email address and password details. Then login to your account and delete any website if one is visible in your list. Then click the "New Website" button. This will then provide you with the option to use either SimpleX or PartnerX.

Will Freelinkers code work with Frames sites?
Probably not. This is because the link code is not visible to our validation spider if it is within a frames page. A simple test is in your browser to select the View menu then Source to see the HTML text of the page. If you link can be seen then it should work with Freelinkers.
